The war of words continues between Arsenal and City personnel after their high-voltage Premier League clash on Sunday. Right after the dramatic meeting ended at the Etihad, City players like Bernardo Silva, John Stones and Manuel Akanji took aim at the Gunners' approach in the second half where they took the 'park-the-bus' approach when down to 10 men. Stones went a step ahead and accused the Gunners and Arteta of practising the 'dark arts'.

Now Arteta has hit back at the Cityzens stars while responding to the accusations, issuing a cryptic warning that he has inside information about the inner workings at City. The Spanish coach served as Pep Guardiola's assistant for three-and-a-half seasons after retiring from football in 2016.

Asked in a press conference about the Man City players' accusations, the 42-year-old said: "No comment. I have been there before. I was there [City] for four years. I have all the information. So I know. Believe me."
