Jurgen Klopp has said his 'heart rate doesn't go up' when Arsenal and Manchester City play as he 'always expects them to win' in the title race.

Ahead of Liverpool's clash with Sheffield United, Klopp said he has no interest in watching Arsenal and City despite the three clubs being locked in a nail-biting title race. He added that having wanted Leicester to win on a past occasion when they eventually didn't, he was 'honestly' not interested in other teams anymore.

Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League with nine games to go, two points clear of Arsenal and three of defending champions, Manchester City. Their two rivals' draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday was an ideal result for the Reds and puts them in pole position to claim title No.20.
WHAT KLOPP SAID
Discussing the title race, Klopp said: "I didn't even know that they (Arsenal and Man City) play tonight. It is really not my subject. I expect them always to win. It's not about that. We need to get our points in, we need to win our football games. I'm honestly not interested.
"Years ago when I watched a game and wanted Leicester to win, [it] didn't happen. That was the last time that I did that. That's when you learn from the past. When they play, my heart rate doesn't go up."

Liverpool are last in midweek action of the top three sides, with Arsenal and Manchester City playing host to Luton and Aston Villa respectively on Wednesday night.
